Resources
Listed below are tools and resources I find helpful to use on a day-to-day basis and for specific projects in my work as well as an annotated transcript of my graduate school courses.
Asana® is a project management software that helps keep complex communication, tasks, and projects organized and accessible to teams. Items in Asana can be viewed in multiple formats, including calendars, lists, and boards. The software can be pricey, depending on the number of employees and features needed for your business.
Canva is graphic design software that can be used in business or educational contexts. There are free options for all users and upgraded free options for educators. Canva has thousands of templates for hundreds of types of projects that can be edited for your use. One drawback is that the options can be overwhelming, and it can be difficult to decide where to start.
Flip software allows individuals to record and share videos for communication, connection, and learning. Flip can be used asynchronously, which is helpful when working with employees and students in different time zones or with differing schedules. The disadvantage to Flip is the video creator has to wait for feedback form other users or instructors as opposed to face-to-face, real-time feedback.
